Lately, things have been rough.
Mastitis. Bronchitis. Inconsolable crying and screaming (possibly from acid reflux?).
We've been to the doctor- all 3 of us, in the 22 days that we don't have insurance.
But you know what.. God is good.
Antibiotics, Zantac, and lots of prayers are nursing us back to normal.
Yes it's been hard, but I was reminded last night that things could be worse.
Yesterday it was 90 degrees so our landlord (Dana) came over to help Kyle install the air conditioner in the bedroom. 80 degrees is too hot for sleeping upstairs! While he was here we introduced him to Trevor, and Dana asked if he was healthy. I said that he was, and Dana said that was very fortunate because not everyone is so lucky to have a healthy baby. Wow. Way to put things into perspective for me. Yes we have some issues, but we have so much to be thankful for too.
And of course, some pictures:
Some out-takes from Kyle's photo shoot with Trevor. (The good one is in the last post)
Ready for summer sun with a new hat.
Not too thrilled to be wearing his bath robe, but at least it made him sleepy.
Future Cedarville student? Even though this shirt is 6 mo that was probably Trevor's first and last time wearing it because it's tricky to get over his head and it was already snug on his chubby belly.
Starting to enjoy his toys more
