6 mo appt

We had Trevor's 6 month appointment this morning.  :)  Here are his measurements along side the ones from 4 months for comparison:

Weight:  4 mo was 15 lb 7 oz (55%)             6 mo 19 lb 7 oz (81%)
Height:   4 mo was 24.5 in (22%)                 6 mo 27 in (62%)
Head:     4 mo was 43.3 cm (92%)                  6 mo 46.2cm (99%)

Growing like a weed!!  She said he looks great.  He's very strong and ready for more food, starting with veggies first.  She also said he 100% has to quit sleeping in his rock and play and move to his crib, so that will be our first project for next week after the move.  Pray for us! 

Dr. Perkey also decided we should quit giving him Zantac for now, and recommended him for a free program called Help Me Grow where someone will come to our house for a bit (sort of like a therapist but not quite) to help him learn to roll over, etc.  She said he is very strong and definitely could roll over, but since he just doesn't want to this will give us some tips on how to encourage him.  Not sure when this will start but it sounds very helpful.

Well Trevor is ready to play now and since he got shots this morning we are doing what he wants today.  Will post pictures another day.
