Weekend Fun

Our neighbor has been giving us random toys as his grand kids outgrow them, and toward the end of last summer he brought over a little hard plastic pool.  We got it out on Sunday afternoon and Trevor enjoyed splashing around.  We didn't think to fill it up ahead of time so the water was FREEZING but he didn't seem to mind.

Here he is 'swimming'. (spinning in circles like a nut)

And here he is 'dancing'. (running/kicking like a maniac)

Trevor is doing pretty good leaving his hat on when we're outside.  It's size Youth and fits great.

This weekend he also started pooping in the potty and keeping his underwear clean (Hallelujah!) so we took him out for an ice cream treat.  He kept saying over and over
"Mom and Dad are happy & proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  That's right.

Not too sure about the cone but did end up eating some.

We found him a Super Why t-shirt (his favorite show) which he got to wear yesterday, and today while getting dressed he said, "Let's try Super Why t-shirt!"  He seriously says something that cracks us up every other minute.  Lately he is also very interested in Thomas the train.  He knows that his name is Trevor Joseph Linden so we told him that Uncle Steve's middle name is Thomas and now when he plays with his trains he always mentions Uncle Stevie Thomas.  He likes James & Percy too.

Another thing Trevor LOVES to do is take videos on my phone and watch himself.  He mostly says/does ridiculous things and then cracks himself up watching them over and over and over.  He is still doing awesome with the alphabet, but enjoys saying things like "W Butterfly" just to get me to say "No, B Butterfly" so he can crack up in hysterical laughter.  He knows that W is for Walmart and Women Potty.  He also says 100x a day that Thomas is the No 1 Engine but will say "Thomas No 4 engine" just so I will say "No, he's No 1."  He also thinks it's hysterical for us to smell his stinky piggies.  There is so much more I could write but this is probably enough for now.  :)
