At the end of March we took Trevor to the mall to ride the train as a reward for staying dry
during naps and overnight. He has been dry every nap for probably at least 6 weeks
and is coming up on a month dry now every night.
Kyle and Abby sat on a bench waiting and when we passed them
Trevor apparently saw them and didn't even tell me, the stinker.
Abby is starting to pretend she likes to read. She will now look at a book for 20 seconds before trying to eat it. She still eats 95% of everything she sees and if we make Trevor share his things he will sometimes say 'Can you put her paci in first?' This is the first line of defense against slobber.
We have a video of Trevor splashing in the tub at 8.5 mo old, and comparatively,
he was way more excited by it. But I'd still say Abby enjoys the tub.
She has been sleeping 745pm-6/630am consistently for the last week.
At Easter Trevor enjoyed using Resurrection Eggs to learn some details about Christ's death and resurrection. There were 12 eggs- a new one to open each day. He remembers which item goes in each egg and lets you know if you're mixing up the colors or getting them out of order.
This week we started swimming lessons. We go Tuesday & Thursday from 5-530 for 8 weeks. The first day he was pretty timid but was getting more comfortable even by the 2nd day. In the locker room he likes to loudly exclaim "I'm NAKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The first day I said, "Shhh you don't have to tell everyone" and a little girl in the stall next to us whispered "But I heard him mommy." Haha.
Thursday night Kyle and Abby came along.
Maybe when Trevor does preschool in the Fall she can go to the baby class. :)
When Viki visited in March she brought Trevor a Super Why cape & mask for his birthday. He was hesitant to try it on. A few days ago he decided he finally wanted to try it out, and LOVED it. :)
Trevor doesn't understand that most people use a selfie stick to take pictures of themselves.
He just uses it to take pictures of Abby.
Yesterday at the Lowes workshop they built a bird feeder.
If you notice in the pictures Trevor tried the hammer with both hands.
Kyle probably took 65 shots of the finished product.
Most looked like the one on the left, but somehow he captured a good one, too.
