Trevor reading a book

Trevor loves to read.  We have 57 books checked out from the library right now.  It's not an exaggeration to say we pick up new ones weekly.  They are a mix of board books for Abby (which Trevor still likes), easy readers for him to 'help me read', and normal picture books that we read to him.  We've also recently stumbled into the world of audiobooks that we borrow from the library thru an app on my phone, and Trevor enjoys listening to stories while we drive in the car.  Occasionally he follows along looking at the actual book, but not usually.

For a while now we've wondered how much he can actually read vs. how quickly can he memorize things he's heard.  Conclusion- it's both.  He is definitely looking at the words- evidenced in this video, (warning it's 8 minutes long), but he also recites stories up in his bed after we turn off the light, so it must be a mix of both.  ;)
