Abby is Born

Here's the short story of Abby's birth. :)

Saturday 7/11/15 our neighbor wraps up a 3 day garage sale.  He offers to give us a bunch of stuff he didn't sell, but we didn't really need any of it.  We have a friend who is having a garage sale to raise money for their upcoming adoption though, so I suggested that if they really didn't want some of the items and were just going to donate to Goodwill, we'd be happy to pass them along to help my friend raise money.  The neighbors were thrilled with this idea.  What I envisioned to be us accepting a stroller, highchair, excersaucer, & pack-n-play somehow turned into them bringing over their entire garage sale and filling our garage so full of random stuff that we had to park in the driveway. :/
So Saturday night Kyle mowed the grass while I worked in the hot garage sorting trash from treasure, deciding what my friend could sell and what should go directly to Goodwill.

Fast forward to 3AM on Sunday morning, I wake Kyle up telling him I might be having a panic attack about all the junk in the garage. And p.s. I think I'm also in labor.  :D  We timed contractions for a while, called Bethanne to come stay with Trevor around 5am, and after taking a shower and finishing packing up our bag headed to the hospital around 6:30am.  First I made sure to get this picture of me in my 5th grade basketball t-shirt.  Still fit at 9 months pregnant.  Too bad I don't have one of me wearing it in 5th grade!

We got situated in the hospital around 7am.  They confirmed we were staying and having a baby that day around 8am.  Started pushing around 1:15pm and she arrived at 1:26pm. :)

p.s. While we were in the hospital Kyle's parents took a HUGE pile to Goodwill, and today a friend picked up the garage sale pile.  :)  [huge sigh of relief]
