At 2 1/2 I was 35.2 inches tall and weighed 32 lbs 4 oz.
Kyle's baby book stopped with stats at age 2, but I'll re-list those for all of us to compare.
Age 2
Trevor - 33.5 inches, 33 lbs 6 oz
Kyle - 36 inches, 29 lbs 10.5 oz
Jess- 35 inches, 30lbs 8 oz
[Yes, Trevor grew 4 inches from age 2-2.5, while I grew 0.2inches. hahaha]
And just for fun some random things about Trevor at 2 1/2:
- Can say the entire alphabet and name a word that each letter starts with
- Knows the names of way more Thomas trains than mom or dad
- Knows the 2 trash companies that pick up on our street and can tell which truck is which by the color. Thoroughly enjoys watching for them each Wednesday.
- Knows a lot of people and 'who goes with who'. Example- If I mention Lydia he'll say "and Aunt SHAWNA and UNCLE ANDY" or if I say "Sophia is coming over" he'll say "and Miss NESSA!!!"(her mom).
- He randomly remembers when he got a lot of toys and from whom- "Trevor got it for CHRISTMAS! From Aunt BETHANNE!!!!!!"
- When he gets up to the table to eat he identifies all the food on his plate
- He is obsessed with a movie about a lady named Miss Patty Cake and he prays for her every day.
- Latches onto phrases and says them over and over- "Dad said no more paper towels. Trevor had a LOT of paper towels mom"- this happened at Target probably 3 weeks ago and he brings it up every time Target is mentioned. He's also told me several times in the past week that "Trevor didn't want a balloon" (at his haircut) and "You wait for your parents" (after Sunday school).
- Along those lines, he memorizes books. Really fast. In 1-2 days. Example- the page reads: Skunk was eating berries because he could find no snails. Picture shows a skunk sniffing berries. After the first 25 times I've read it I might say "Skunk was eating berries because he could find no ____" and Trevor says snails. A few hours later I say Skunk and Trevor says "Was eating berries because he could find no snails". And he can do that for the whole book!! And giggles the entire time like he knows he's a smarty.
- If you tell him he's a smart cookie he always says "and a hamburger".
- If he gets hurt he says "Are you ok Mom??" because he wants me to say "Are you ok?"
- He has some serious confusion on sneezing/burping/tooting/pooping. He knows that sneeze=bless you, burp/toot=excuse me, and poop=potty .. but when he hears someone else do one of those.. he's a riot. If someone at church sneezes he says "he POOPED!" or if Abby toots he says "She BURPED." About the only one of those he knows good is when Abby poops, but most people don't audibly poop like she does so that's not too useful. :)
- If he has a tiny wet spot in his underwear we tell him he had a pee dot. Tonight after bath Kyle's shorts were soaked and he said "Trevor you got me all wet" and Trevor looked and said "Pee DOT!!" Haha.
Needless to say, he constantly cracks us up. :)
Oh my gosh! I'm laughing out loud. He says so many funny things... can't wait to see him again. :]
